Charlotte, NC. – October 08, 2025 – Techtronic Industries Co., Ltd. (“TTI”), a global
technology company delivering solutions to consumers and professionals in power tools,
outdoor power equipment, and floorcare, today announced the relocation of its North
American floorcare and cleaning appliance business – TTI Floorcare North America – from
Charlotte, NC to Anderson, SC.
TTI Floorcare North America’s robust portfolio includes iconic brands such as HOOVER®,
ORECK®, and DIRT DEVIL®, which are trusted by professionals and consumers. This
strategic move reflects TTI’s plan to accelerate disruptive innovation and leverage synergies
between its consumer businesses.
Since 2019, TTI has invested over $500 million in South Carolina. Its subsidiaries currently
employ more than 1,500 team members at the company’s global innovation center in
Anderson, SC, which includes over 500,000 sq. ft. of office, engineering, and testing space,
and 3 million sq. ft. of distribution and warehouse operations.

The transition is expected to be completed by June 1, 2026, with no disruption to services
