Ride FREE with Anderson County

Anderson County offers a program that provides daily around-the-clock transportation for qualifying Anderson County citizens to qualifying Anderson County manufacturing jobs. Anderson County now ushers in this program to give every individual the opportunity to get a reliable mode of transportation to and from any manufacturing jobs within the county. There are several ride opportunities within the program to provide as many transportation solutions as is possible.

Qualifying Citizens:

Unemployed or Underemployed

• those working under 30 hours/week
• pay below $12.32 per hour
• no health insurance

Qualifying Jobs:

• In the field of manufacturing
• Pay at or above $12.32 per hour
• Employers paying at least 50% of healthcare benefits
